The tourist industry in Cornwall has developed some very interesting places to visit, particularly for the family.
There are theme parks such as the Flambards Experience near Helston, Paradise Wildlife Park near Hayle and Cheney Mill Farm Park just a few miles away at St Erth.
The Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station on the Lizard peninsula is well worth a visit, it is both informative and fun. The Minack is an open air amphitheatre carved into rock on the cliffs above Portcurno. It has spectacular views over the sea and coast line with a comprehensive series of plays and events throughout the summer months.
In winter, a trip to see to see the Christmas lights at Mousehole is a must but it is recommended that you understand the reason for this grand display by reading the story of the “Mousehole Cat” before you go.
